COLLEGE ALGEBRA HONORS
GRADES 10, 11
1 CREDIT
2 SEMESTERS
1.2 GRADE WT.
Prerequisites: Geometry Honors
Students will solve and apply linear, quadratic, higher order, and advanced systems of equations and inequalities over the set of complex numbers. They will graph and analyze quadratics and higher order functions using transformations of parent graphs, with and without the use of technology. They will perform computations with and apply properties of matrices and determinants, with and without the use of technology. They will perform computations and apply properties of matrices and determinants, with and without the use of technology.
REMARKS: Texas Instruments graphing Calculator (TI-84 plus or TI-NSpire) is strongly recommended.
