GRADES 9, 10
1 CREDIT
2 SEMESTERS
1.0 GRADE WT.
Prerequisites: Freshman are placed based on EXPLORE scores
Students will simplify and evaluate expressions by applying order of operations, rules of exponents and radicals, and factoring. They will solve, graph and apply linear equations, and inequalities; and systems of equations and inequalities over the set of real numbers, with and without the use of technology.
REMARKS: Texas Instrument Graphing Calculator (TI-84 plus or TI-NSpire) is strongly recommended.
