Students will demonstrate critical thinking skills and analytical strategies as they read complex classical and traditional literature and discuss real world issues. Through the use of proofreading, editing and self-assessment of writing level, students will critique their own writing and the writing of others especially for style and sentence variety. Students will compose a formal research paper using M.L.A. format and will be applying the research process, thinking skills and writing skills worthy of a college paper.
