Explore Grade 9

9th Grade testing is conducted in April each year. 

The EXPLORE assessment consists of four standardized assessments:  English, Mathematics, Reading and Science Reasoning. 

English: 40 items/30 Minutes
Mathematics: 30 items/30 minutes
Reading: 30 items/ 30 Minutes
Science: 28 Items/30 Minutes

Why take the EXPLORE test?

Used as a high school measure of College and Career Readiness Skills.

Compares a students’ educational progress from October of their 8th grade year to April of their 9th grade year.

Provides students preparation for the ACT assessment.
