The Community Relations Office promotes the success of students and staff through collaboration with community and family. Diverse community interests and needs are addressed through the utilization of District and community resources.
Our office interacts and communicates to thousands of JTHS stakeholders through a variety of communications. We serve as the primary liaison between the school and community.
The Community Relations Office builds school and community partnerships through various means.
- Communication with internal and external stakeholders via Web site, e-mail, phone messages, video, podcasts, and the District 204 e-newsletter, JToday
- Coordination of media relations via partnerships with print, radio, and television media to communicate District 204 activities, accomplishments and concerns, as well as serving as liaison in emergency situations
- Facilitation of partnerships among staff, parents, students, community, churches, businesses and sender school districts via advisories and committees. Our office oversees the following committees comprised of JTHS stakeholders: Communication Advisory, Joliet Region Interfaith Educational Committee (JRIEC), and all Strategic Planning committees
- Internal coordination of District 204 Strategic Planning process, including planning sessions and action plan teams.
