  1. There will be a preseason Bass Fishing Team meeting on April 3rd at 3:30pm pm in the Athletic Skybox (across from room 283).  If you are interested in participating in the Bass Fishing Team you need to be in attendance.  If you have questions, see Mr. Locke in the main office.  (Locke)
  1. Anyone interested in attending Operation Snowball, a 2-day retreat that is student lead and sponsored by the Student Assistance Program, then come see Mr. Peterson in the Guidance Office for details.  This retreat is about making new friends, gaining new connections, and getting a once in a life time experience.  (Peterson)
  1. Auditions for Graduation Night Speaker (May 26th) and Ivy Night Speaker (May 3rd) will be held during 1st period on Thursday, April 13th.  If you are interested in auditioning, please turn in a typed copy of your speech (3-5 minutes long), attach it to the completed application and turn it in to the Principal’s Office by 3:30pm on Thursday, April 6th.  Good luck!  (Locke)
  1. Ballroom Dance will meet today after school in Multipurpose Room A.  (Maupin)

The Joliet Central Drama Department proudly presents “The Laramie Project” on Friday, April 7th at 7:00pm, Saturday, April 8th at 7:00pm, and Sunday, April 9th at 3:00pm.  Performances will be held in the Joliet Central Auditorium and seating will be on the stage for an intimate theatrical experience.  Tickets will be limited to 150 per show and will cost $5 for students and $10 for adults.  Come see this funny, poignant, touching, and emotional true story about how the death of a young man changed the town of Laramie, Wyoming forever.  Tickets will be sold at the door.  (Hoyt)
