Welcome JT Central Parents!

                My name is Eduardo Contreras and I have been teaching at Joliet Central for 8 years. I have taught Mathematics in the bilingual program, teaching Algebra 1, Algebra 2 and Geometry. Prior to arriving at Joliet Central HS, I taught in Chicago at Tilden Career Community Academy for 7 years. I am fluent in Spanish and look forward to talking to some parents in their native language about their children. I am also the Boys Head Soccer Coach at Joliet Township. This past year, I once again am coaching in the girls program and am the Freshmen Coach for the Central Girls. I look forward to working with the current PPS staff and learning from them this upcoming year. I have tremendous amount of respect for what they do and I hope to maintain their level of excellence that they have established these past many years. I also look forward to talking to and getting to know the parents of our Central students and help them in any way possible in dealing with their sons and daughters. I look forward to an exciting 2009-2010 school year. Take care.
