Greetings to all educational stakeholders in the Joliet Central High School community! My name is Theresa Carter and I am proud to be one of Dean of Students here at Joliet Central High School. I extend a warm welcome to all of you. My greatest desire at Central High School is that all individuals involved in the educational process of young people will work collaboratively to ensure the success of all students and to develop them into respectable community leaders.

As the Dean of Students, I have several expectations for all individuals involved in the learning process that will assist us in ensuring the success of all students. I expect all of our staff members to develop positive relationships with our students, to be creative, fair, and consistent with their disciplinary procedures, and to communicate these procedures to all parents. I expect that each and every student will present themselves in a respectful manner, act with integrity, and put forth their best effort into all aspects of their education. I expect all parents or guardians to be supportive of the Joliet Central staff members, to communicate any questions or concerns to administration and teachers.
