Doug Schmuldt has been a guidance counselor for eighteen years, the past seven of these at Joliet Central High School. He received his bachelors and masters degree from Concordia  University in River Forest, Illinois.  Mr. Schmuldt is the counselor for students at the beginning of the alphabet (A-Carl) and is also the lead counselor for organizing senior related events such as information on financial aid and post-high school planning. He has two sons, one in college and the other in junior high. His wife also works in the field of education as a librarian in an elementary school.
