Project Dove is an alternative dispute resolution program that utilizes students trained in conflict resolution and mediation techniques. This team voluntarily helps students who have conflicts in school to develop positive plans to solve those problems through contractual agreement. The Central Campus staff teaches the needed skills and mentors students in the program.
For discipline cases involving rumors, harassment, threats, name-calling, fighting, bias or prejudice, a relationship, or property loss or damage, the dean may elect to refer a student or students to the peer mediation program. Students who participate in the program and sign an agreement under the supervision of a peer mediator may qualify for a reduction in the number of days that must be served. Please contact faculty sponsor Mr. John Wietlispach or visit Central Campus room 377 for more information.
