1. Final Exam Tip: If you’ve studied all you can, get up your confidence! When test-time rolls around, it’s time to get yourself into confidence mode. You’ve prepared as much as you could, and now it’s time to ace the test. The tip here is to do whatever works to convince yourself you are going to do really well. Again, I know this tip sounds a little crazy but you just have to try it for yourself. I think you’ll like the results. (Randich)

3. As the school year comes to a close, the principal’s office has 4 reminders:
· Any student misbehavior at the end of the year may be enforced at the beginning of next year.
· All school rules need to be followed until the last bus returns to campus.
· Remember to mark your calendars for Schedule pick-up on August 9-10 and August 13-14.

4. All students should save work that you want to keep to the Sky Drive or on a USB stick before the end of the year. District technology will be deleting documents on the H drive during the summer (Randich)
5. Students who signed up for Summer School are reminded that the first day of Summer School is Monday, June 11 at Joliet Central. Students should plan on arriving on that first day at 7:15 a.m. at which time you will be able to locate your classroom and teacher’s name. The regular summer school day is from 7:45 a.m. to 12:55 p.m., Monday through Thursday. Parking is available east of the main building off of Collins St. Parents may drop students off using the main security entrance. (Randich)
6. Morning Star Mission is providing new school supplies and clothing for the homeless and low-income families in Will County. Registration is Tuesday, June 12 from 9:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. at the Drop-In-Center located at 364 E. Washington Street. This is an opportunity for low income families with students in Kindergarten up to 17 years of age to start school with new clothing and supplies. Documentation and appointments are needed. Supplies are limited. Informational flyers are available from your counselor, dean or social worker. Extra copies are also available in the principal’s office. (Randich)
7. Attention freshmen, sophomores and juniors: Please clean out your locker of all items by the end of the day on Thursday, May 24. All textbooks should be turned into your teachers. The gray locks should remain on your locker. Freshmen students will get new locker assignments next year. Sophomores and juniors will keep their same lock and locker. (Randich)

10. For students who are freshmen, sophomores, or juniors: Remember to check the final exam schedule that is posted in teacher’s classrooms. During final exams students should turn in your textbook to your teachers. Students returning to school next year should avoid any misbehavior that could result in a summer expulsion hearing or a suspension at the start of next school year. We look for a smooth ending to his school year as we transition into the 2012-2013 school year. (Randich)
11. For students who are returning next year: Mark your calendar for schedule pick-up beginning on August 9. Students who fail to pick up their schedule from August 9-10 and 13-14 will pay a $100 late fee.
