The Joliet Township High School Girls Swimming Team is teaming up with the Pink Heals Joliet Area Chapter to host their 2nd Annual Pink Heals Swim Meet on Thursday, October 20th from 4:00 pm to 6:30 p.m. at the Inwood Athletic Club, 3000 W Jefferson Street in Joliet. The event is free and open to the public.
“It’s a big night for our swimmers and the Pink Heals community,” said Danielle Maynard, Head Girls Swimming coach. “Pink Heals is a wonderful organization that supports women in our community. Our swim team of 22 girls sold over 150 Pink Heals Shirts as part of the fundraiser, and they donate a portion of those sales right back to the Pink Heals Joliet Area Chapter. I am very proud of their dedication.”
Steelmen and Tiger fans are invited to attend this inspirational event and are encouraged to wear pink.
